Over 413,000 people in Australia cannot remember their family, their friends, their childhood, their holidays – or who they are. This end of financial year you can help make a difference.
Earlier this year our Ambassador, Bryan Brown, spoke of his friend Richard Neville, of Oz Magazine fame, whose brilliant mind deteriorated and who died too soon of Alzheimer’s.
“It was a real wake up call for me. It made me think long and hard how we want to go to our graves embracing the memories and thoughts that we have had. We have to find a solution”
Just one of the ways to try and find the answer to Alzheimer’s is our TESTOSTERONE TRIAL.
Recent studies have indicated that a decrease in testosterone is related to an increase in amyloid build up in the brain. This has triggered our ground breaking study to assess the effect of testosterone and the Omega-3 fatty acid found in fish supplementation on brain amyloid and cognition in men over 60 years of age.
This study has been made possible by your donations and help from the WA Government and Lotterywest. But we still need more help. Please donate today, any further assistance you are able to give will help enormously.
