We are pleased to announce the CWA of WA have chosen the Australian Alzheimer’s Research Foundation as their charity of choice for 2018/19. The Foundation would like to extend its sincere thanks and appreciation for this generous gesture.
We are delighted to be associated with this distinguished organisation that has been part of the fabric of the West Australian rural community since 1924. CWA branches are now found throughout the metropolitan area as well as the rest of WA, their work is immeasurable and tireless.
Alzheimer’s is a debilitating disease affecting over 425,000 people in Australia. The foundation is racing to find solutions and in need of financial support to achieve this as soon as possible. CWA fundraising will assist this quest considerably.
The Foundation looks forward to supporting the CWA in their fundraising efforts and also to the wonderful opportunity this affords us to inform the whole of WA on the latest research and preventative strategies to stave off Alzheimer’s disease.
